Yesterday...
Hmmm... yest was meng's 1st day of work... we made so much noise bickering all day long... hahaz... hopes of running off at 5 were dashed as we only left at 7pm... the last to leave along with verena... who had to stress up to hurry up.... worse thing is that my com is so laggy it took so long to shut down. yest was DND n all the people went off long ago....
Wanted to take lots of photos at work but no time in the end... only 2 pics of the xmas tree, one of the messy workstation cos of *ahem* and one of the place as a whole. No time cos we spent the 1st half of the day preparing nametags n 2nd half going thru all the forms, preparing as much as we can for next wk accessment centre. N 2 times going thru wat to do with meng...
After that meng n i wanted to go food republic for dinner but too crowded... so it's the jap fried noodles for me at taka and a black pepper sausage with prata... fattening man... n then there's comes pubbing... the 1st time we r going if we do not count the marina mandrin experience... wanted to go alley bar but it was so crowded we had to sit at the entrance... in the end decided on acid bar instead...
It was good... great music... nice bar top... but too smoky.... margarita sucks... it's like ice blended with alcohol.... n the one at acid bar isn't piled up nicely like the one pet had at alleybar... sighs... so it was kinda a waste of money... but overall... it's a good experience.
If i ever go again... i think i better do some research on bar drinks 1st... i dunno wat drink is wat... but then pubbing is expensive.... if i wanted to sit there longer... would have needed to order 2 drinks or maybe 3? And with that money i can have a sumptous dinner elsewhere... So i guess pubbing for me shld only be a once in a blue moon thingy... meanwhile my frequent chilling place will still be starbucks at suntec.
